On September 15, the designer Marie Quiniou launched the first bag of her brand Peurce, the Daily, in Frumat apple alter-leather. You still have two days to support her crowdfunding campaign on Ulule.

When Marie Quiniou left her job at the end of last year to realize her passion for leather goods, she was "in search of meaning", explains the French designer, in the presentation text of her Ulule campaign. This is why the native from Brest has set her sights on apple alter-leather for her sustainable brand respectful of sentient beings, Peurce, launched by crowdfunding on September 15.
Her first creation, the Daily bag, eco-responsible and vegan, is composed of AppleSkin, the innovative material of the Italian company Frumat, made from recycled residues from the production of apple juice and an alternative to animal-based leather. "Once the juice has been collected, the skin, flesh, seeds and stalks are dried, then crushed to finally mix them with synthetic products", explains Marie Quiniou in the press release sent to Le Boudoir Numérique: "The preparation is then spread, then molded to obtain the desired thickness and effect, like (…) grained leather and crocodile leather.”
If the apples are Italian, the design is French, the Daily bag and the small leather goods from Peurce, card holders and passport covers, being imagined in Brest and manufactured in Plancoët, in Brittany.
