The American brand Jonathan Simkhai has completed the New York physical presentation of its Fall-Winter 2022 collection with that of ten digital looks in the virtual world Second Life.

Transposing real clothes into the virtual world using softwares identical to those used to design video games is now possible. And this is the tech option chosen by the American brand Jonathan Simkhai to stand out, on the occasion of New York Fashion Week, by offering, the day before its traditionnal press and buyers appointmments, a virtual fashion show of its Fall-Winter 2022 collection, in the metaverse Second Life, on February 14th.
No IRL fashion show then, but ten digital looks that strutted along the runway of this virtual world, whose inhabitants were able to acquire these outfits for their avatars. Six NFTs outfits were also auctioned off, two days later. Check out the virtual presentation below.
