Bombo, innovative and inclusive lingerie

The lingerie brand Bombo proposes, for pre-order on its website, four body positive basics in Seacell cellulose fiber, dyed by vegetal coloring in its own workshop, in Marseille.

It’s not really easy to buy second-hand lingerie. If the three designers of the brand Bombo, Fanny Versace, Laurine Vaudet and Noëllie Monod are concerned about creating fashion in a way more sustainable and respectful of people, they have understood that items as intimate as panties or a bra should rather be produced new. "To produce new yes, but to produce correctly," they pledge in their press release.

To do this, Bombo proposes to leave the classic model of the collection which pushes towards overconsumption to adopt four basics, panties, tanga, bra and brassiere-top, adapted to all body types, from size 34 to 48 (XS to XXXL), in a body positive philosophy.

Likewise, in order to minimize the carbon impact of its production, in the fight against climate change, Bombo uses the innovative Seacell material, a cellulose fiber made from eucalyptus wood pulp, enriched with seaweed powder; makes its own vegetal dye, in its workshop in Marseille; manufactures in Portugal in limited quantities and works on pre-order, to limit unnecessary surpluses.
