Often criticized for being gadgety and bling bling, luminous fashion tech is nonetheless regularly used by luxury houses, eager to attract new customers, especially GenZ and Y, with high-tech, fun and original products, while preserving the traditional codes that have founded their success (more info in this Boudoir Numérique article). Among these, Louis Vuitton which, in 2019, had already marketed a Keepall bag and a pair of LV Trainer sneakers incorporating a textile optical fiber technology (more info in this Boudoir Numérique article), continues on its momentum with its new Horizon Light Up connected speaker.
Inspired by the iconic Louis Vuitton Toupie bag, this light up audio accessory, in black leather, glass and stainless steel, is fitted with 35 light-emitting diodes. The speaker is embellished with a central ring, illuminated with the name of the French house by 12 LEDs.
The brand's signature Monogram motif of the upper ring features 23 LEDs. Synchronized with the variations of the music played by the speaker, the flowers of the Monogram come alive with a play of bright color gradients.
* The Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up speaker has been available, since July 30, 2021, on the brand's website and in its stores, for the price of 2,450 euros. More info on the official Louis Vuitton website here.
