Due to the Covid-19 crisis, attending the fashion shows, by interposed screens, in video conference, turns out to be an effective social distancing solution as seen during the presentation of the Italian house, below.

* Louis Vuitton, October 6, 2020

The fashion show of the French brand, signed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the artistic director of the women's collections, was held at the Samaritaine, an historic Parisian monument, with Art Deco architecture and Art Nouveau frescoes. Under the large glass roof of what used to be a department store, giant green panels were used to digitally inlay scenes from Wim Wenders' movie, Wings of Desire, which only the connected audience could see.

* Balmain, September 30, 2020

Travels to Paris being compromised, there were no stars and famous magazine editors in the front rows of the French house's fashion show. At least not In Real Life. Never mind, the artistic director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, has reserved three rows of seats for 58 OLED screens from the Korean electronics brand LG showing personalities, such as Anna Wintour or Cara Delevingne, as you can see in the video below.
