Starting next February 10, the new edition of the high-tech and innovative textile trade fair Avantex will open its doors at Le Bourget, near Paris. Le Boudoir Numérique gives you a taste of the exhibitions on offer, leaving plenty of room for multidisciplinary experimentations, dear to new generations of fashion tech designers, as well as the programming of round tables, not to mention practical information on the fashion tech networking evening and the call for startups projects of the French association La Fashiontech.

EXHIBITIONS :
* Hemp and linen innovations
On this stand dedicated to the textile use of those two plants, one will be able to discover the works, projects and creations of :
- RBX Creations, a team specializing in innovative ecological solutions, creator of the brand Gorfoo (eco-responsible clothing and accessories made from sustainable materials) and at the base of the Iroony project (development of innovative materials from the field to the garment);
- The association Lin & chanvre bio, bringing together producers and processors of linen and hemp organic textiles;
- The Greencat company (traditional hemp fabrics and finished products, designed in Vietnam);
- The French brand Patte de loup (hemp clothing);
- The French brand Splice (linen clothing);
- LINportant (cooperative for the production of linen T-shirts in Normandy).
* Sustainable fashion technologist Clara Davis
The exhibition of this Franco-American textile designer, specializing in biomaterials and technologies applied to fashion, aims to be representative of his interdisciplinary approach, touching on the fields of textiles, art, chemistry or biology, in a do it yourself (DIY) approach. Clara Davis who, for example, has developped intelligent and sustainable textiles by laser cutting and 3D printing or has questionned the uses of recycled waste in fashion, will present several of her works, such as a selection of biomaterials samples, a video on the cooking processes of bioplastics, a collection of biodegradable bags or organic clothing, as well as a regenerating body suit.
* Immersive fashion project Aran Labs
Avantex visitors will be able to experience the personalizing clothing process, designed by Scottish designer Ciaran Moore, in an interactive virtual reality environment that will allow them to create custom print patterns directly printable on recycled items, thanks to Brother GTX apparel printers.
