Le Boudoir Numérique already predicted it, a few months ago, in the face of the Coronavirus crisis, 3D clothing shows, without models, were going to be the next big thing (more info in this article). In the wake of the designer Anifa Mvuemba who had already done it, last May, to face the constraints of confinement, the online presentation "A Black Future", broadcast Monday on the digital platform of New York Fashion Week, unveiled virtual clothes moving by themselves.
The sweatshirts featured are those of the StayMe7o Propel Program, an initiative of the American basketball player Carmelo Anthony, who invited seven designers to express their creativity in this Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Watch the video presentation below.
The 3D show is signed by London-based digital fashion design studio 3Dressmaker, which had previously worked on the Hauli virtual muse of Ralph & Russo's 20-21 Fall/Winter haute couture collection, unveiled on the platform of the French Federation of Haute couture and fashion, on July 6, 2020 (more info here).
