As we have seen on Le Boudoir Numérique, since the Coronavirus pandemic, virtuality is quite trendy in fashion, whether it be avatars (more info here), influencers (more info here), video game characters (more info here) or 3D mannequins (more info here). It is this last option that the Italian brand Sunnei chose for the digital presentation of its Spring-Summer 2021 collection, Wednesday, on the online platform of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion which organizes the Milan fashion week, from 14 to July 17.

This presentation represents the first part of the SS21 collection, Sunnei Canvas, composed of signature pieces of the brand that certain retailers, around the world, will have the possibility to digitally customize in shapes, cuts and fabrics, on the Canvas virtual reality platform, in order to have a selection of exclusive models in their stores. This is shown in the presentation video, where the virtual models, dancing on the Macarena by the group Los del Rio, see their clothes change from white to the changing colors of digital personalization.
