PARIS FASHION WEEK
* Atlein FW20-21 : February 27, 2020
Signed by the MUA Fara Homidi, the makeup of Atlein Fall-Winter 20 show, in Paris, was inspired by Grigory Bakunov’s work, as explained on the brand Instagram account : “Bakunov, a top specialist at one of Russia's largest tech companies, has invented an anti-facial recognition algorithm to conceal people's identities with the help of makeup”.
This concern about the technologies of face detection, namely locating a face in an image and facial recognition, that is to say recognizing the face of a person and thus identifying this individual in an image or a video, is currently very present in the work of artists and fashion designers, faced with the growing development of digital tracing in our modern societies (more info in this Boudoir Numérique paper).

* Marine Serre FW20-21 : February 24, 2020
Fruit of a collaboration started on the occasion of Marine Serre's Marée Noire collection with the Swedish brand of technical protective masks Airinum (see here), several facial masks were presented during her show. "We are working with the technological filter of Airinum to develop masks that we really want to wear", explained the French designer to Loïc Prigent, in his fashion program “5 minutes de mode” of March 2, 2020 (see here).
Also in this fashion capsule from the French journalist, Marine Serre mentioned her sleeves to carry a smartphone, presented on her Fall-Winter 2020-2021 collection, in these words : “It's a bit like Deliveroo delivery men, you're on your bike and you've got your chic sleeve, so you're never lost.”
Finally, pay attention to this other version of Loïc Prigent’s reportage, longer this one : have fun finding out the luminous accessories, behind the scenes of the show and on the podium, below.
