After being the host avatar of Balmain's virtual showroom, in June last year (more info in this Boudoir Numérique article), Olivier Rousteing collaborates again with the company Altava (formerly known as Unmatereality). Created in 2018, this Singapore-based company, specializing in virtual commerce, gaming and 3D solutions dedicated to fashion, has digitized the Flame dress, designed by the creative director of the French luxury brand, for the magazine Vogue Singapore.
This virtual look, celebrating the tenth anniversary of Olivier Rousteing at the head of the creation of the famous couture house, consists of an off-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit in emerald green, a matching headpeace and monogrammed booties, the whole outfit being engulfed in flames.
The Flame dress is part of an NFT collection of fashion, beauty and design creations, designed exclusively for the September edition of Vogue Singapore, a special issue dedicated to Non-Fungible Tokens exploring the creative renaissance resulting from technology (more info here).
* The Flame dress by Balmain will be auctioned on September 25, 2021, along with the other digital creations of Vogue Singapore's NFT collection.
