Cardi B revisits Tom Ford’s futuristic breastplate in Rumors, Lizzo's music video

After Gwyneth Paltrow, Zendaya and Zoë Kravitz, it's the American rapper’s turn to succumb to the charms of a bustier directly molded to her voluptuous curves, in Rumors, Lizzo's new music video, released yesterday.

It was the iconic accessory for the Spring-Summer 2020 season. The so sci-fi bustier worn by Gwyneth Paltrow, Zendaya and Zoë Kravitz last year (more info in this Boudoir Numérique article) is making a comeback, thanks to Cardi B this time.

If the breastplate, highly mediatized in 2020, was molded in acrylic, from a 3D scan of the bust and came from Tom Ford’s SS20 collection, that of the American rapper was sculpted by the Pakistani artist Misha Japanwala (see here), whose custom bustier has become the signature piece.
