From the trash cans of Disney Park to its merchandising store, there is only one – responsible - step. The Walt Disney Company took advantage of the fiftieth anniversary of Earth Day, April 22, to relaunch its collection of Mickey & Co. retro T-shirts, created in 1984, with a sustainable dimension. The T-shirts are, in fact, made with Repreve fibers (see here), from recycled plastic bottles, in collaboration with the company Unifi (see here), specialist in recycled fibers for textiles.

As the entertainment company's press release indicates (see here), the Mickey & Co. clothing line includes up to 50% recycled Repreve fiber, from plastic bottles collected, in part, at Walt Disney World Resort amusement park in Florida, USA.
