Ikeuchi Hiroto creates cybernetic face coverings for Balenciaga
The artist Ikeuchi Hiroto signs, in collaboration with the exoskeleton company Skeletonics, the fashion tech accessories of the new Spring 2022 campaign of the French brand Balenciaga.

After the virtual reality headset for its Fall 2021 Jersey campaign, last August (more info in this Boudoir Numérique article), it is the turn of a different type of fashion tech accessory to do the honors of the new Spring 2022 visuals from Balenciaga: the cybernetic face covering.
This is how the Japanese artist Ikeuchi Hiroto describes his creations inspired by robotics and mechas that cover the features of the models in the French brand's ready-to-wear campaign, unveiled five days ago.
Ikeuchi Hiroto worked in collaboration with the exoskeleton company Skeletonics for the realization of his art pieces which will be exhibited in Balenciaga stores in Japan and in the brand parisian boutique avenue Montaigne.
Ikeuchi Hiroto has also collaborated with the Venezuelan singer Arca, for accessories for her futuristic music video NonBinary, in 2020 (more info in this Boudoir Numérique article). Check out Balenciaga Spring 22 campaign film, below.
