The stage and costume design of the two American rappers Missy Elliott and Lil Nas X was decidedly Sci-Fi inspired, at the MTV Video Music Awards, this Monday, in Newark. Let’s have a look on this (bright) side of tech!

“I'ma snatch they wigs 'til I see that scalp”… If you lose your wig, for the sake of a choreography at the MTV Video Music Awards, it does not matter, you can always divert attention to your pretty Sci-Fi-ish costume, with flashing LEDs. That's what Missy Elliott's dancers did, while performing the song Throw It Back in a medley of the American rapper, rewarded Monday, in Newark, with a Video Vanguard Award. On August 22, the singer unveiled the video of her title Throw It Back, from her new album Iconology. "So many VMA's that I could live on the moon", she laughts, in a silver astronaut costume, surrounded by twerking dancers in blinking garments.
