Iris van Herpen, fond of technology, presented her Fall-Winter 2019-2020 haute couture collection, on the first of July, in Paris. Thanks to the Dutch designer, craftmanship and innovation unite in the most hypnotic artistic dream.

A show like a dream, a second state ... A state of hypnosis. An immense sculpture unfolds its curves in the center of the catwalk. Harmonious and soothing movement of this kinetic work of art, signed by American artist Anthony Howe, as a tribute to the universal cycle of life. An invitation to meditation, to cross this portal to enter, in the steps of the models of Iris van Herpen, in the fascinating world of the Dutch designer.
On the first of July, Iris van Herpen unveiled, in Paris, at L’Elysée Montmartre, her haute couture collection fall-winter 2019-2020, entitled Hypnosis. Multiple layers of deceptive transparencies, endless patterns, waves of laser-cut fabrics flowing on the skin ..., Hypnosis delivers an exploratory visualization of the nature’s tapestry symbiotic elements, for a three-dimensional reflection on the beauty, the complexity and fragility of our environment.
Master piece of this collection, the Infinity Dress, whose engineered skeleton in aluminum and stainless steel came poetically to life, in the delicate dance of its mechanical bearings, at the end of the show. An exceptional finale (see the two videos of Le Boudoir Numérique below) for this Hypnosis collection, in which once again, Iris van Herpen has transformed fashion and technology into artistic ecstasy.
