BACK TO THE FUTURE. Augmented reality brought five Madonna on the Billboard Music Awards scene, earlier this month, in Las Vegas. A technological feat that is reminiscent, in a less poetic way, of the Kate Moss hologram, from an Alexander McQueen runway show, in 2006. Tribute to a visionary creator.

Five Madonna for the price of one. This is the surprise that the American singer gave to the public of the Billboard Music Awards ceremony, on May first, in Las Vegas. For her new song Medellin, in duo with the Colombian singer Maluma, the star appeared in company of four different avatars of Madame X, the alias that lends its name to her next album, to go out in June. A technological challenge, made possible by augmented reality, a simulation experience that add virtual elements to a real environment. Check out Madonna’s performance below.
These digital versions of Madonna have inspired Le Boudoir Numérique a flashback to the universe of Alexander McQueen, fashion designer genius, who died in 2010. And more particularly to the atmosphere of his fall/winter 2006 runway show, on March third, in Paris, entitled The Widows of Culloden. In the show final, one can see the evanescent silhouette of model Kate Moss floating in the air, in the form of a hologram of the most poetic effect. A milestone in the history of fashion and fashion tech. Discover this unique moment below.
