Lady Gaga's visor-shaped headpiece catches the attention of fans

A few hours before her "One World : Together At Home" event, let’s have a look at the face-shield hat worn by Lady Gaga in InStyle magazine, which takes on a whole new dimension in these times of fight against Covid-19 in which the singer is actively involved.

"This is the Coronavirus mask I NEED!", "Face shield but make it fashion", "Perfect against Covid", "Wearing a mask? If it's mandatory, I want this one”… The pictures of Lady Gaga were barely revealed on Instagram that Internet users were already commenting on her visor-shaped headpiece, evoking a protective mask of social distancing, sadly of circumstance, in these times of confinement due to the epidemic of Coronavirus.
But apart from this reference made by Lady Gaga’s fans to the current world actuality, this hat, immortalized during a photo shoot for the April 2020 issue of InStyle magazine, is a pure fashion accessory, signed by Indonesian designer Rinaldy Yunardi.
Rinaldy Yunardi, who often works with luminous fashion tech devices, has also created a visor and a headband for Lady Gaga's futuristic extravaganza music video Stupid Love, released last February.

As a matter of fact, it is not that surprising that Lady Gaga’s fans had made a link between her headpiece and the Coronavirus epidemic, in the sense that the star is actively engaged in the fight against Covid-19, as shown by its many recent calls to action. On April 6, Lady Gaga announced, in a virtual press conference with the World Health Organization, her fundraising of 35 million dollars to fight against the Coronavirus, as well as the diffusion of a televised event presented among others by American host Jimmy Fallon. The event, "One World : Together At Home" will be broadcast tonight, simultaneously on television channels such as ABC, NBC and CBS. Watch Lady Gaga discuss about it with Jimmy Fallon in the video below.
Finally, Lady Gaga appealed to researchers and innovators around the world to fight the Covid-19, asking them to join the IBM Call for Code Global Challenge 2020 initiative. Watch her video below.
