"OK Google, show me pictures of the Versace Jungle dress". It is on these words of Donatella Versace, pronounced on September 20, on the occasion of Versace's fashion show Spring-Summer 2020, in Milan, that appeared on a vast panoramic screen, dozens of shots of Jennifer Lopez, in a dress that became iconic, both in the world of fashion and tech, since it is at the origin of the creation of Google images. Nothing less.

The vertiginous cleavage of this silk chifffon green dress, printed with tropical and bamboo leaves, worn by the American singer at the Grammy Awards ceremony on February 23, 2000, in Los Angeles, has made such an impact on the spirits that a few hours later, Google was saturated with information requests from Internet users, eager to learn more about this ultra sexy silhouette of Donatella Versace, artistic director of the Italian house Versace. A search so popular that it gave ideas to Google teams : on July 12, 2001 Google Images (the service offered by the search engine to find, on the web, images corresponding to a specific topic) was born.

"OK Google, now, show me the real jungle dress", continues Donatella Versace. And J.LO appeared on the catwalk, wearing the famous dress revisited with a sleeveless design this time. A spectacular fashion tech moment, fruit of the collaboration between Google and Versace.
