U-Know : Follow me like a (fashion tech) robot

Korean singer Jung Yunho in Dior Men pre-fall 2019, very futuristic collection by artistic director Kim Jones, for the teaser campaign of his new solo album, in June 2019

Luminous headsets, flashy watches, futuristic bikes..., K-pop singer Jung Yunho launched his first solo album with a music video, as bling as tech, “Follow”, in June. He also wore a silhouette of Dior Men pre-fall 2019 collection, with futuristic and cyber inspirations, for his album teaser campaign.

For the single of his first solo album "True Colors", released last May, the Korean singer U-Know had to hit hard. And what a better way to smash it than with a fashion tech inspired music video for his single "Follow", unveiled in June.

Jung Yunho asks his fans : "follow me like a robot", in his dark-industrial universe, where luminous watches, neon colored headsets and futuristic bikes steal (almost) the show, in a flood of electrostatic discharges, worthy of a Faraday cage live demonstration. If  the singer, then, suggests : "Touch me like a robot", caution is required : beware of electrocution, due to an overdose of K-pop bling bling. Check out the "Follow" music video below.

U-Know, who is also a model, chose to wear a silhouette from Dior Men pre-fall 2019 collection, signed by artistic director Kim Jones, for the visuals of his new album teaser campaign, in June. This collection, whose guest was Hajime Sorayama, a japanese artist famous for his ultra-sexy robotic pin-ups, bears science-fiction and cyber influences, as explained in the following article by Boudoir Numérique : "Fembots et sci -fi at Dior : decoding 101".
