Geek mais chic : beauty tech recap of the exhibition
Spectrocolorimeter, skin scanner, interactive booth, virtual mirror ..., as the exhibition Geek mais chic closed yesterday, Le Boudoir Numérique takes stock, in images, on the tech experiences offered by various beauty and fragrance brands to the visitors of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. At Dior, the Skin Analyzer personalized diagnostic tool delivers an analysis of the client's skin, based on criteria such as brightness, firmness or hydration. Launched in 2015, this scanner, equipped with a touch screen and a camera, suggests skin care products and makeup, adapted to the specific needs of the consumer. Skin Analyzer remains available on the Dior corner, by appointment, after the closing of the exhibition Geek mais chic.
In the Guerlain booth, the customer answers questions from Google Home's intelligent personal assistant to choose the fragrance that suits her best in the brand's fragrances. "The visitors appreciated this olfactory experience", notes the Guerlain’s beauty consultant : "Some customers who only use our make-up, for example, can discover our perfumes, through this surprising and playful consultation."
At Yves Saint Laurent, a connected mirror allows you to try virtually any make-up and colors. The Beautymatic connected lipstick vending machine completes the experience.
La Bouche Rouge is an eco-responsible french brand, offering a case of rechargeable lipstick, according to the customer desires. A spectrocolorimeter, a tool for measuring the color of an object surface, is used to determine the tone of a baton perfectly corresponding to the color of a piece of fabric, a photo detail, etc. So the client can bring her sources of inspiration to La Bouche Rouge corner to find her ideal color of refill.
On the Bobbi Brown corner, you can record your personalized make-up lesson and have it sent by e-mail to reproduce it at home.
Sillages Paris has developed a software to create personnalized perfume. In order to compose his own formula, the client selects, on an iPad, up to 6 ingredients among 30, combined by algorithm to those validated by Sillages Paris perfumers. Service available, by appointment, from May 5, 2019, in the new salon of the brand, 5 rue de Charonne, in Paris.
